This technique uses heat-created suction to lift tissue, improve circulation, and release areas where the body isn't moving as freely as it should. The cups are slid along the back with lotion, and can be placed and held in areas of restriction. It can be intense — and open, honest communication throughout the session is essential. If something is too much, we adjust.

This might be for you if: You feel chronically tight. You've tried deep tissue work and haven't found the relief you were looking for. You're ready for something that works differently — lifting and decompressing tissue rather than pressing into it.

This is not for you if: You have thin or fragile skin, you are on blood thinners, or you are not okay with marks on your body. Cup marks are normal and can last anywhere from 5–7 days, sometimes up to 2 weeks depending on your body.

A few things to know going in: Don't expect a perfect grid of marks on your back. That's not what this work is about. We're addressing tissue, not making a design. Plan to drink plenty of water and be gentle with yourself afterward.

I generally reserve fire cupping for clients I've already worked with — not as a strict rule, but because this work requires trust and open communication. I need to know you'll speak up when something is too much. If you're a first time client with prior cupping experience, let's talk.
